Ayesha Gul from Swabi is appointed as first female Assistant Inspector General in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.

Ayesha Gul has been appointed AIG for the first time in the history of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, according to reports.

In addition, she has been named the new director of AIG Gender. She will focus on women’s, transgender, and children’s rights.

A help desk for gender concerns has also been established at the Central Police Office in Peshawar.

The police officer Ayesha Gul, who is currently stationed in Peshawar, has assumed command of her new position. She stated that as AIG Gender Equality, she will seek to preserve women’s, transgender people’s, and children’s rights.

Ayesha Gul, who was serving in the Islamabad Traffic Police at the time, had been recognized for her efforts earlier in January. She was also promoted to the position of police superintendent.
