Digital Smart Card for vehicles registration to be launched soon in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

According to the provincial government’s instructions, the Director General Excise Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Aslam Wazir, claimed that automobiles smart cards will be launched shortly in the province.

He stated that the relevant firm had been given a deadline to complete the work on preparing the digital smart card as soon as possible, as well as instructions to submit a daily progress report, so that the much-anticipated smart card could be launched soon in accordance with the provincial government’s directives.

On the occasion, Director General Mahmood Aslam Wazir issued instructions stating that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise Department is committed to digitization of the department’s overall operations and directed the firm in charge of the project to expedite the ongoing work on vehicle digital Smart card and complete it as soon as possible.

He told concerned officials to speed up work on the vehicle smart card and finish the project as soon as feasible. According to him, the Excise Department is taking practical efforts toward digitalization and the people of province would get vehicle digital smart card and universal number plates very soon.
