Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), laid the foundation stone for Rs 1.15 billion in electricity and water development projects in Tehsil Sahansa on Wednesday.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister lay the foundation stone for a Rs 502.6 million water delivery plan during his visit to Kotli on Wednesday.
To improve the electricity transmission system, he also lay the foundation stone for the 132 KV Grid Station and 132 KV Transmission Line projects. The project would cost Rs 645.54 million and will take three years to complete.
He claimed that the water supply project would be completed in two years rather than three, and that the grid station would be built in one and a half years rather than three.
He stated that Azad Kashmir has been set on the path of realistic growth, and that the government will work with the federal government to establish more public welfare initiatives.
He stated that Azad Kashmir will be developed and welfare-oriented in accordance with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister told a public audience in Sahansa that the people voted for Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision.
