Pakistan’s first ever Soccer City Stadium to be built in Karachi

GSV and NED University have put pen-to-paper on a US$ 12 million deal to bring Pakistan’s first ever Soccer City Stadium, an iconic addition to the City of Lights, Karachi.

Global Soccer Ventures (GSV) has teamed up with NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi to construct a first-of-its-kind soccer city stadium. The two sides agreed to build a stadium in the city for $12 million over a ten-year period.

NED UET and and GSV signed a 10-year agreement to establish Pakistan’s first soccer city stadium in Karachi.

Under the agreement, the German engineers will develop a series of football infrastructure projects in Karachi including the construction of a state-of-art football stadium.

The stadium will be equipped with all FIFA’s world-class facilities. The innovative stadium is designed by a German firm, read the press release issued by a company.

“NED University wants to be at the forefront of science and technology as well as football,” said VC NED.

VCf NED University expressed his delight at signing the deal with GSV. ” NED is world-renowned for being at the cutting edge of technology and science in its educational curriculum so why not football. It is a vision that only GSV can bring to life. I have seen the science and evolution of football on offer and it will be a major transformation for football in Pakistan,” he stated.

Chairman GSV, Zaib Khan said that the GSV is the foundation of the sports revolution in Pakistan.
