Pakistan’s furniture exports increased by 80% last 1 year, to reach $5 Billion by 2027

Pakistan’s furniture exports from the country increased by an astounding 80.3 percent in the first month of the current fiscal year compared to the same period last year.

President of the Pakistan Furniture Importers and Exporters Association Lahore chapter said that the volume of furniture exports has now reached Rs 179 million, up from Rs 99 million in the same period last year.

It is claimed that the furniture business had a great deal of potential to dominate global markets with creative designs, and that it could contribute greatly to exports.

A package of incentives and facilitation was urgently needed to promote exports even more. If government provided full assistance, furniture exports may reach $5 billion in the next five years.
