Pakistan’s Textile exports increased by 28.41% to $7.758 billion in just 5 months.

According to the latest data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, textile exports totaled $7758.020 million in July-November (2021-22), up from $6041.421 million in July-November (2020-21), a 28.41 percent increase (PBS).

Exports of textile items increased by 28.41% in the first five months of the current fiscal year (2021-22) when compared to the same time the previous year, and by more than 35% on a year-over-year basis.

Cotton yarn exports climbed by 65.45% year over year, from $304.533 million to $503.897 million. Textile exports increased by 28.41% to $7.758 billion in just 5 months.

From July to November 2021-22, exports totaled $12.364 billion, compared to $9.744 billion from July to November 2021-22. (2020-21).

Imports entering the country, on the other hand, increased by 69.57 percent, from $19.468 billion last year to $33.012 billion this fiscal year, according to PBS data.
