Realme’s Founder and CEO officially confirmed a date for the global launch of the new series through Twitter, after teasing and incrementally divulging information about the impending GT 2 lineup. On January 4 at 11:30 a.m. UTC, the Realme GT 2 Series will make its debut in China.
Later, the global office issued a press statement revealing the flagship’s design.
Realme recently announced that the GT 2 Pro will be the first phone to feature a 150-degree ultrawide camera and Realme’s ‘Ultra Wide Band HyperSmart Antenna Switching,’ which has 12 antennas around the phone.
It will also be the first bio-based smartphone design (influenced by paper), and it will be co-designed once again with Naoko Fukusawa, who has worked on previous Realme devices.
The Realme GT 2 Pro will be the company’s first gadget to utilize Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, as well as an under-display selfie camera, a 1TB storage tier, and a 6.7-inch QHD+ Samsung AMOLED display. The GT 2 Pro is expected to include 65W quick charging, according to speculations.
A non-Pro version of the Realme GT 2 with different specs and a lower price point is scheduled to appear in India at some point.
