Realme set up assembly plant with an investment of $16 million in Lahore

Realme have invested $16 million in Lahore, Pakistan to build an assembly plant. The company’s daily output can range from 2,500 to 4,000 units depending on market demand and the sort of smartphone they’re making at the time.

The emerging mobile phone manufacturer realme has started assembling handsets in the country to reduce the Price of its smartphones in Pakistan.

The cost of realme smartphones has decreased by 40% since the start of assembly in Pakistan, with the gain being passed on to the end customer.

Since its launch two years ago, the realme has made huge progress in the Pakistani smartphone industry.

Abdul Razak Dawood, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Commerce and Investment, commended Realme Mobiles for beginning production in Pakistan and investing in a new assembly plant.

According to the advisor the local assembly have created jobs and also reduced the cost of their locally manufactured devices. Around 800-1,000 employment have been created in the local economy as a result of the assembly plant, which includes technicians, engineers, and other professionals.

According to Abdul Razak Dawood, The new initiative by Realme is in line with the Ministry of Commerce’s Make-In-Pakistan policy, which encourages industrialization and import substitution.
