Virat Kohli responds to world’s number 1 batsman Babar Azam tweet after it took internet by storm

Former India captain Virat Kohli has finally responded to the tweet of Pakistan skipper Babar Azam in which he extended his support to the out-of-form Kohli.

Babar took it to Twitter and wrote a heartfelt message to former India captain Virat Kohli, who is finding it difficult to get going at the moment.

“This too shall pass. Stay strong. #ViratKohli.” Babar wrote on Twitter.

Currently in his cricket career, Virat Kohli is having a difficult time. The 71st century of the former Indian captain’s international career has been on the horizon for some time, but it currently seems improbable given that he has failed to reach even a half-century in recent innings.

The second ODI of the three-match series against England saw Virat Kohli get out for 16 runs off of 25 balls, failing to score big runs once more. Virat Kohli is being criticized by some for his recent performance, but others are standing up for one of the best cricketers in history.

Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, too spoke out in favor of Virat Kohli during this difficult moment. Longtime rivals Virat Kohli and Babar Azam have a great deal of respect for one another both on and off the field.

“This too shall pass. Stay strong. #ViratKohli,” tweeted Babar Azam after Kohli failed to score big runs in the second ODI of the three-match series against England.

And now the next very big thing has happened for which fans of both the cricket mights were anxiously waiting.

Virat responded to his tweet with a reply and said, “Thank you. Keep shining and rising. Wish you all the best”.

Babar is ranked first in the MRF Tyres ICC batting rankings for both ODI and T20I matches, as well as fourth in Test cricket, after scoring international centuries in recent series against Australia and the West Indies as well as a T20I half-century against Australia in Lahore last month.

For the second and third ODIs against England, Virat Kohli, who was absent for the first ODI against England, is back in the Indian lineup. Since ODIs are the format he is most familiar with, there were high expectations for Kohli in the game. He once again fell short of expectations, though. In the third and final game of the series, which also serves as the series’ deciding game, fans are hopeful he can regain his form.

Because the Indian batsman is consistently failing to score runs on the international level, his absence from the next T20I series against the West Indies has further generated concerns about his future in the Indian team.
